Our team aims at enhancing students’ interest in learning Chinese language. We plan and organize various activities to promote Chinese culture and to broaden students’ horizons.

D&T Co-curricular activities promotion team

The purpose of this promotion team is to promote the culture of design and innovation to students, and to build up their problem-solving skills by arranging school activities and participating in external competitions.

If you are interested in the following activities, you are welcome to join this promotion team:

  • Various STEM related activities
  • Design problem-solving related competitions
  • Minecraft

English Language Enhancement Unit (Reading)

(i) English Ambassadors (reading team):
● Plan and organize activities to promote reading
● Recommend books and articles to schoolmates through
library book displays, board displays, games, campus
TV, Instagram, etc.

(ii) English ambassadors (IT helper team):
● Film and edit videos for reading and activity promotion
● Manage Reading Team’s social media (e.g. Instagram page) and Google site


English Language Enhancement Unit (Activities)

(i) English Ambassadors (activities team)
● Plan and run internal and external English activities
● Serve as hosts in English programmes for Campus TV
and assemblies
● Promote the use of English in campus


Geography Society

The society aims at promoting students’ interest in the learning of Geography and the awareness as a global citizen through various activities like field trips, talks and other hands-on activities. Both junior and senior form students are welcome.


HE co-curricular activities promotion team

The Home Economics co-curricular activities promotion team aims to provide cooking classes and handicraft classes to enhance fellow schoolmates’ interest of Home Economics.


Maths. Co-curricular activities promotion team

The Mathematics Co-curricular activities promotion team aims at promoting students’ interest in Mathematics and broadening students’ horizon about the world of Mathematics through different kinds of activities.


Music Co-curricular activities promotion team

The Music Co-curricular activities promotion team aims to broaden students’ music-related experiences. In the past few years, we have organized the annual Music Contest, music-creation competitions, mini-concerts, music-related workshops etc. The team also provides students with discounted concert tickets information. If you are interested in Music, please stay tuned with our team!


PTH Co-curricular activities promotion team

The PTH Co-curricular activities promotion team aims to promote students’ interest in learning Mandarin. We provide Mandarin learning environment through different kinds of activities.


Science Co-curricular activities promotion team

The science Co-curricular activities promotion team aims to plan and arrange science related activities to
1) arouse students’ interest in science,
2) learn science outside the classroom
3) acquaint to apply science in daily life


VA co-curricular activities promotion team

Students will be able to
1) explore more art-related experience outside campus
2) participate free visual arts workshop which conduct by artist and attend exhibition
3) explore more art making process through assisting in school decoration setting

● A team of students to provide creative and diversify activities for fellow schoolmates.
● Training of coffee making would be provided
● Experience of entrepreneurship could be gained through Coffee selling or Christmas Market.


Campus TV

The school’s campus TV was established for the purpose of filming and producing videos for the school, recording the campus life, and producing feature videos to let students and teachers to focus on some campus topics and increase students’ attention to the school. In addition, we will also take photos of school activities for recording, and will also have professional training to improve students’ shooting or Free photography skills. Civil Aid Service Cadet Corps

The Cadet Corps has the mission to encourage young people to develop skills and leadership through participating in group activities and training which are beneficial to the development of their mind and body. It aims at nurturing them to become future leaders and responsible citizens, building up their confidence, sense of responsibility, self-discipline and the spirit to serve others.


Community Youth Club

● The Community Youth Club aims to provide students with opportunities to engage in community services.
● The activities of the CYC range from conducting talks, competitions and exhibitions, organising training camps and leadership training programmes, visiting community organisations, and providing community services for the promotion of civic awareness and good social behaviour.
● The objective of the CYC is to provide the youth with education outside the school curriculum to enhance their sense of civic responsibility. Through visits to community service organisations, CYC members can experience personally the work of these institutions and learn to be a caring person for active participation in community affairs.


English Drama Club

The society aims at cultivating student’s interest in drama. Students need to attend an interview in late September. The Club will provide opportunities for students to learn and appreciate drama through workshops and competitions.


Francophone Group

● An interest group dedicated to introduce French speakers’ culture, so as to broaden schoolmates’ horizons and offer new perspectives to see the world as global citizens
● Members could learn about Francophone culture and history through interesting activities
● Basic French vocabulary and conversational phrases would be introduced in the meetings and events organized


Green Friends

● Raise schoolmates’ awareness on environmental issue
● Conduct environmental protection action in campus


J-Pop Culture group

● An interest group dedicated to introduce Japanese culture, so as to broaden schoolmates’ horizons.
● Members could learn about Japanese culture through interesting activities


MMLC Service group

The purpose of MMLC Service Group is to provide all students with computer services, allowing students to use computers for digital learning in a barrier-free environment.


Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Unit 66

● Through the ‘Progressive Activities Scheme’, members are nurtured stage by stage to embrace the mission of Red Cross
● Members will learn first-aid knowledge in workshops and can consolidate their skills through school services and Youth First Aid competitions
● Providing health check services as Health Ambassadors and designing service projects for the needy
● Members are encouraged to join local and international friendship or humanitarian-related activities to broaden their understanding of different cultures and global issues.
● Members’ communication, leadership and practical skills can be fostered through joining competitions and leading projects.


Stage Service Group

The purpose of Stage Service Group is to provide supporting services of audio and lighting equipment to assembly and variety shows. Training and selection are required.


Student Librarians’ Club

The purpose of the Student Librarian Club is to provide supporting services of the daily operation of the library including collection maintenance, circulation of books and journals, reading promotion, learning support. You can help others while developing yourself. Training and selection are required.


UNICEF Club

The purpose of the Student Librarian Club is to provide supporting services of the daily operation of the library including collection maintenance, By joining the activities organised by the UNICEF Club, including workshops or fundraising activities, we would like to encourage students to show their concern about the community, and also arouse the awareness of the underprivileged children around the world. We hope students can reflect upon their own life and learn to be a global citizen.


Heritage Team

● The Heritage Team aims at promoting students’ interest in learning history. A wide range of activities would be organised such as heritage conservation workshops, guided tours on school history, history exhibitions and seminars …etc.
● Members would also be given chances to be ambassadors to introduce school history and help to update school relics records.


4C Youth Volunteer Leadership Project

Jointly provided by Agency For Volunteer Service, this program aims to provide an opportunity for students to appreciate his/her advantages, build up confidence and gain courage to face difficulties, take care of the others and make a commitment through the training, planning, execution and reflection of volunteer services. S3 and S4 students are preferred. Group interview is required.


Chinese Debating Team

● Provide intensive training to enhance students’ critical thinking, presentation skills and the awareness of social issues.
● Participating in inter-school competitions
● Regular training would be held (weekly)


Table-tennis Teams (Boys) (Girls)

The school’s table tennis team will provide training and participate in various competitions to improve the skills of the players and establish a positive and effort-based team culture.


Volleyball Teams (Boys) (Girls)

● Provide highly positive and effort-based team culture.
● Each season is to provide a meaningful experience while teaching the game, volleyball skills and competitions.


Basketball Teams (Boys) (Girls)

Provide comprehensive training in basketball competition.
Including the following areas:
● Personal basketball skills
● Physical attribute in basketball games
● Team play and technical sense of basketball game


Badminton Teams (Boys) (Girls)

The Boys / Girls Badminton team will provide training and participate in various competitions to improve the skills of the players and establish a positive and effort-based team culture.


Swimming Teams (Boys) (Girls)

Provide opportunity to participate in inter-school competitions.


Beach Volleyball (Boys)

Provide highly positive and effort-based team culture. Each season is to provide a meaningful experience while teaching the game, volleyball skills and competitions.


Athletic Teams (Boys) (Girls)

Provide opportunity to participate in inter-school competitions.


Cross Country Teams (Boys) (Girls)

Provide training and participate in inter-school competitions.


Dance Team

● Providing performing opportunities to develop schoolmates’ interest in dancing and build up confidence.
● Dance types include Jazz Funk (street dance) and Modern dance.
● Regular training would be held weekly.
● Participate in different competitions such as Schools Dance Festival, Dance World Cup, High schoolers Asian Hip Hop Championship, etc.


Recorder Band

● Providing training and performing opportunities to develop students’ recorder playing skills, musicality, collaboration skill, and confidence etc.
● Regular training is held every Wednesday after school.
● Performs in school events and concerts.
● Participates in inter-school competitions.
● Chances to interflow with students of other schools.
● Students with basic recorder playing skills are welcomed to join the audition.


String Orchestra

● Providing training and performing opportunities to develop students’ instrument playing skills, musicality, collaboration skill, and confidence etc.
● Regular training is held every Tuesday after school.
● Performs in school events and concerts.
● Participates in inter-school competitions.
● Chances to interflow with students of other schools.
● Students with basic skills playing the violin / viola / cello / double bass are welcomed to join the audition.


Choir

● Providing training and performing opportunities to develop students’ singing skills, musicality, collaboration skill, and confidence etc.
● Regular training is held every Monday after school.
● Performs in school events and concerts.
● Participates in inter-school competitions.
● Chances to interflow with students of other schools.
● Students who love singing are welcomed to join the audition.


Wind band

● Providing training and performing opportunities to develop students’ instrument playing skills, musicality, collaboration skill, and confidence etc.
● Regular training is held every Thursday after school.
● Performs in school events and concerts.
● Participates in inter-school competitions.
● Chances to interflow with students of other schools.
● Students with basic skills playing a wind instrument (e.g. clarinet, oboe, flute, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba etc.) / Percussionists are welcomed to join the audition.


Aesthetic Ambassador

● To organize aesthetic related activities in different forms
● Participate in voluntary services and enhance students’ aesthetic experience and interaction
● Promote Aesthetic events
● To disseminate information about art activities to classmates and schoolmates


Health Ambassador

Health Ambassador is a team to organise activities e.g. cooking class, fruit tasting, cooking competition etc. in Health Week to promote a healthy living style.


Life Ambassador

Life Ambassadors target Form 1 and Form 2 students and through adventure-based and service-based activities, the programs aim to promote self-understanding, help finding strengths and prepare the junior forms students for leadership.
Programs include but are not limited to the following:
● Adventure-based camp
● Paying visit to the elderly home
● Understanding our community through walking
● Reaching the nature
● Organizing a year-end ceremony


LPEC Ambassador

● To have a better understanding of the fields students are interested in and develop the skills required in future workplace, e.g. communication skills, organization skills and interpersonal skills, through participating in the workshops, taster programmes and training, etc.
● To organize life planning activities in different forms, e.g. F. 1 Orientation, F. 3 Counselling Sessions for choosing elective subjects, etc.
● To disseminate information about further studies and careers to classmates and schoolmates in different means, e.g. notice boards, LPEC Corner in the school library, etc.


Moral and Civic Education Ambassador

● To promote social awareness and world vision, cultivate the qualities of a potential leader
● To organize MCE related activities, e.g. board display and film appreciation, join external programs and visits.


Peer Counsellor Scheme

The PCS would recruit students from Form 3 and 4 who are keen on giving a helping hand to the new comers. The PCS members are expected to attend training workshops to acquire peer counselling skills, help organizing orientation activities for Form 1 students and promote a caring culture in the campus. Through a series of structured trainings and various opportunities, peer counsellors are able to seek personal growth and enhance leadership skills.
*Recruitment for the school year 2022-2023 starts in June 2022

School Image Promotion Team is a team that when in need is used to welcome guests into our school.


Worship Team

● Aim: To understand, to experience and to worship God through music.
● Details: We will meet up after school on Tuesdays (biweekly) at Chapel.
● You do not need any musical talents to join the Worship Team! All Christians and non-christians are welcomed!

Students who are passionate in science, innovation and technology and able to demonstrate commitment and responsibility.


Joint School Science Exhibition

Students who are passionate in science, innovation and technology and willing to put the science into real life.

Maths. Olympiad

Students who are talented in Mathematics will be invited to join the team. Students in the team will learn advanced Mathematics knowledge and participate various inter-school Mathematics contests to broaden the horizons in Mathematics.

Physics Olympiad

● Interest classes for students to learn playing an instrument.
● Students may opt for individual class or group class. (different fees F3-F4 students who are enthusiastic in Physics will learn to solve challenging mechanics problems. Students will be nominated to join the Hong Kong Physics Olympiad competition.
